Sarah Plimpton
Sarah Plimpton is Vice President and Chief Happiness Officer at Capital Campaign Pro.
Sarah spent the first part of her career at one of the largest capital campaign consultancies in the world. For more than twelve years, she worked alongside non-profit executives spanning nearly every sector to design and lead transformational capital campaigns.
Her work supported efforts to establish hospice facilities, restore river habitats in New England, construct cancer treatment centers, broaden access to community colleges, expand animal shelters, conserve thousands of acres of wild habitat, create outdoor recreation opportunities, and increase scholarships for first-generation students.
She later served as director of development at an independent day school, overseeing all facets of the development office and leading the most successful campaign in the school’s history—surpassing its goal and strengthening a lasting culture of philanthropy.
Sarah is the co-author of A Board Member’s Guide to Capital Campaign Fundraising: How to Raise Game-Changing Money for Your Nonprofit.
