Laura Young
Laura Young brings to clients over 30 years of extensive campaign and fundraising experience. She has been a campaign consultant for over 11 years conducting planning / feasibility studies, and directing, supervising and advising on capital campaigns.
Laura began her career in Washington D.C. working for Senate Majority Leader George J. Mitchell and engaging in political fundraising and campaigning at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. For 18 years, Laura served as vice president of philanthropy at the Maine Community Foundation where she led the statewide advancement and communications/marketing efforts. She is experienced as a funder, fundraiser and philanthropic advisor to high-net-worth individuals.
Laura’s board experience includes Bates College, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, Portland Provident, Center for Grieving Children, Association of Fundraising Professionals Northern New England, and Portland Rotary Club.
