She understands the full spectrum of philanthropy through her positions as a development director, foundation program officer, board member, and consultant. Kate wholeheartedly believes in fundraising best practices and saw clear proof of their success when, as a one-woman development team, she implemented them and doubled individual giving during the recession.
In 2012, Kate began consulting with a variety of nonprofits. Five years later, she co-founded Breakthrough Fundraising Group so she could focus on community-based organizations. Kate loves working on campaigns — a time when nonprofits are dreaming big and working hard.
