Jacqueline House
Jacqueline House currently serves as the Vice President of Communications and Community Engagement at Safe Children Coalition (SCC).
In her role, she is responsible for creation and execution of marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives while introducing processes, procedures, and best practices that cultivate a culture of philanthropy both inside and outside of the organization. She is currently leading a capital campaign for a new youth shelter. Jacqueline has spent her career supporting non-profits as a part of her personal mission.
Over the last two decades, Jacqueline has worked in fundraising, marketing, and communication with several nonprofits, including:
- Girl Scouts of Gulf Coast Florida
- Children’s Home Society of Florida
- St. Thomas University
- Goodwill Industries of South Florida
- Women In Distress of Broward County
Jacqueline also served as Founding Head of School for the former Quality Life Academy, a small private school in Southwest Florida. Her background includes board service for several nonprofits. She currently sits on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Southwest Florida Chapter, and the Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida.

Jacqueline is a student of leadership, a strategist, an innovative thinker, and a doer. She is passionate about helping people be all that they can be. Similar to the Starfish Story, for every person who receives a lifeline because of the work we do, it makes a difference to that person. And in the ripple effect of life, it will make a difference in the world.

Education and Certifications
Jacqueline holds an MBA from Hodges University, and a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Central Florida. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), and a published author of the 5-star reader rated e-book House Rules for New Leaders and Managers: Five Truths Plus 25 Steps to Change.
