Located in Cleveland, WI, Lakeshore Technical College offers over 100 career programs including associate degrees, technical diplomas, technical certificates, and apprenticeship programs. Serving more than 13,000 students annually, LTC graduates move into four-year programs, or enter the workforce in fields like accounting, nursing, computer science, and many others.
The Challenge:
In 2023, Lakeshore Technical College broke ground on a new Center for Health Care Excellence.
The new center will be a 16,000-square-foot addition and remodel to the existing Cleveland campus, benefiting 1,500 health care and emergency services students and professionals who will train annually in the new facility.
To secure $2MM in state funds, the LTC Foundation needed to provide $3MM in private donations to the project.
Kristy Liphart, the Vice President of Advancement, and her small staff had only done one other major campaign (over five years ago) in the foundation’s history, raising just over $1MM. Knowing some additional support would be needed, they reached out to Capital Campaign Pro.
